Job Title: Cosmetologist – Nails & Head Spa Specialist

Location: Rinnova Spa & Wellness Center – New Bern, NC

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Cosmetologist to provide nail services (manicures and pedicures) and head spa treatments focused on relaxation, scalp care, and hair health. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating an elevated, memorable guest experience and thrives in a collaborative, luxury spa setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, polish application, and basic nail art.
• Deliver customized head spa treatments focused on scalp health, relaxation, and hair nourishment.
• Educate guests on proper nail and scalp care routines and recommend home-care products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area in accordance with spa standards and state regulations.
• Build genuine connections with clients, ensuring an exceptional and welcoming spa experience.
• Assist in promoting spa services and retail products to enhance the guest journey.
• Support the team in maintaining the overall presentation and ambience of the spa.

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina Cosmetology License required.
• Prior experience in nail care services (manicures, pedicures, gel polish) preferred
• Experience or strong interest in head spa / scalp care treatments preferred (training provided).
• Excellent client service, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Professional appearance and positive, nurturing attitude.

• Ability to deliver a luxury guest experience with professionalism and warmth
• Comfortable working in quiet, scent-enhanced environments
• Availability on evenings and weekends as needed
