Job Title: VP Client Service- Media
Job location: Hybrid- Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Norwalk, New York
Primary Objective
Drive the growth and delivery of Kantar's Media Solutions business by leading a high-performing client service pod, ensuring excellence in client delivery, and collaborating closely with the VP, Agency Group Lead to align with broader organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a client service team, ensuring high-quality, timely, and profitable delivery of media solutions to clients.
  • Oversee a portfolio of accounts and projects, focusing on operational excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in media research and analytics, providing guidance and thought leadership within the pod and to clients.
  • Design and implement custom research and analytics projects, maximising creative problem-solving to address client needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the VP, Agency Group Lead to support integrated solutions and critical initiatives.
  • Build strong client relationships, understanding client context to deliver actionable recommendations and drive retention.
  • Support business development efforts by participating in major pitches and renewals, and by partnering with sales and product teams to identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and utilization within the pod, aligning with project complexity and client requirements.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive team culture, championing professional development and upskilling for pod members.
  • Stay current on industry trends, research methodologies, and internal best practices, sharing learnings to enhance team performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and quality in client delivery.
  • Represent the team in internal initiatives and culture-building activities, supporting Kantar's values and community.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • 8+ years of custom market research design or media analytics
  • Experience commercializing brand consulting and agency services, and delivering on client impact, while partnering with business development and sales teams
  • Experience creating study designs for strategic research projects, serving as subject matter expert on effective research design to clients
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop team members, including 3+ years managing teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and deliver results.
  • Experience using research & analytics to inform brand management and marketing strategies
  • Creative, out-of-the-box problem solver that can take a highly customized approach to research and analytic design
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior client stakeholders.
  • Expertise in translating clients' business requirements into solutions, and effectively positioning solution value in terms of business value and ROI
  • Ability to effectively lead, collaborate, triage and make decisions in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in team collaboration and delivering through influence within a large matrix organization
  • Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed

The salary range for this role in Chicago is 122, ,500 USD
