Role Summary

We have an opportunity for an AI Architect to lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of Loom Security's Unified Security Posture Management (USPM) solutions and services. This is a critical role in shaping the intelligence layer of our services, driving innovation in AI, ML, and automation to deliver actionable, business-aligned outcomes.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Partner Management, and our Customer Advisory Board to design AI-driven services and solutions that unify posture insights across the information security landscape.

Responsibilities

· Architect and own the AI/ML aspects for Loom's USPM service offering, ensuring scalability, performance, and resiliency for our customers.

· Define the AI vision for data analytics across posture management domains (CSPM, DSPM, ASPM, IAM, etc.).

· Partner with Product and Engineering to translate business and customer requirements into technical architectures and AI-driven solutions.

· Design and implement large-scale data pipelines, real-time event processing, and ML workflows.

· Leverage cloud-native AI/ML services (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build scalable and interoperable solutions.

· Ensure security, compliance, and governance in AI pipelines, aligning with Zero Trust and data protection best practices.

· Stay informed on AI and cybersecurity trends, applying emerging technologies to strengthen Loom's service offerings and solutions.

· Collaborate with Partner Management on ecosystem interoperability, ensuring AI services support integration with partner technologies.

· Mentor engineers and data scientists, providing architectural guidance and technical leadership.

· Contribute to planning and innovation discussions, aligning AI service architecture with long-term market strategy.

What You'll Bring

· 7+ years of software architecture experience with emphasis on AI/ML systems.

· Proven expertise with AI/ML frameworks and distributed systems, including system integrations and data flow.

· Hands-on experience with cloud-native AI/ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI).

· Strong background in large-scale data engineering, ETL, and streaming.

· Familiarity with posture management, identity, cloud, and cybersecurity technologies.

· Experience working with partner ecosystems, cloud marketplaces, or interoperability programs a plus.

· Ability to bridge complex technical concepts with business needs and customer outcomes.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record guiding cross-functional teams.

· Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI/ML, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· Self-starter mentality with a passion for innovation and delivering transformative solutions.

· Ability to pivot quickly as priorities shift.

· Desire to contribute to a growing team and provide leadership both up and down the organizational structure.

· Willingness to take initiative and provide leadership in shifting environments.
