Job DescriptionThe Production Supervisor at our Auburn facility plays a critical leadership role in overseeing daily operations within the production area. This position is responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, productivity, and delivery metrics, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, capable of motivating teams, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure associates have the tools and training needed to work safely
- Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for safety incidents
- Lead daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with ESH policies and legal requirements
- Assign and supervise labor to meet production goals
- Communicate plant policies and procedures effectively
- Ensure team members receive proper training, including safety, job certification, and quality alerts
- Drive process improvements to increase productivity
- Maintain accurate documentation including time & attendance, payroll, overtime, training records, and process audits
- Attend daily shift hand off meetings
- Responsible for entering work orders
- Ensure production meets quality standards and delivery targets
- Support Lean initiatives and participate in Continental Business System (CBS) activities to reduce variation and eliminate waste
- Perform other duties as directed by the Department Manager

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or 2 years experience required
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting
- Relocation is available for Continental employees only
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing supervision experience, preferably in a union environment
- Flexible to work any shift
Environment:
