Known for a collaborative, innovation-driven, quality-obsessed culture, they partner with leading biopharma companies to accelerate drug discovery through premium recombinant proteins, antibodies and assay kits.As Technical Sales Specialist / Field Application Scientist – Cellular Immunotherapy & Gene Editing, you will support territory growth by driving a 10 % year-over-year revenue increase across your assigned accounts. You'll qualify and manage 30+ active research groups in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont, partnering with senior sales and applications teams to showcase our client's superior technical solutions.Key Responsibilities:Execute territory business plans, managing 30+ strategic accounts to achieve quarterly sales targetsIdentify and qualify new leads in cellular immunotherapy and gene-editing workflows, booking 50+ technical demos per yearDeliver detailed presentations and hands-on demos of CAR-T assay platforms, CRISPR/Cas workflows and viral-vector protocolsCollaborate with marketing, product development and technical support to tailor regional campaignsConduct 1–2 days per week of on-site customer engagements, workshops and scientific conferencesMaintain Salesforce CRM data, pipeline forecasting and territory analytics with < 15 % varianceRepresent the company at key industry events, trade shows and user-group meetingsQualifications:Required:Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or related life-science field2+ years of sales or applications support experience in cellular immunotherapy or gene-editing reagents/instrumentsHands-on expertise with CAR-T cell assays, CRISPR/Cas gene-editing workflows and biophysical characterization techniquesProven ability to meet or exceed sales or activity metrics in a research-driven environmentStrong communication and consultative selling skillsPreferred:Master's degree or PhD in life sciences, business or related disciplinePrior role as Field Application Scientist or Technical Sales Specialist in cellular-therapy marketsProficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platformsBenefits & Value Proposition:Market-competitive base salary of $80,000–$105,000 (DOE) plus uncapped commission tied to account growth80 % employer-paid medical, dental and vision coverage from day one401(k) match up to 6 % of salary16 days PTO in year one, increasing annually to a 30-day cap$600/month cash-in-lieu option if covered under another planHybrid work model with Boston hub, travel support and clear career path to senior rolesCulture Integration:Join a technically rigorous team that values collaborative problem-solving and peer-led knowledge sharing.
