Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant food service environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of restaurant management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining high-quality food and service standards across casual dining, fine dining, or catering settings. Previous experience in hospitality management, culinary operations, or restaurant supervision is essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure optimal performance
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours
  • Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control measures
  • Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures
  • Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety protocols across all departments
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production, menu execution, and special catering or banquet events
  • Implement staff training programs focused on customer service excellence, food handling, and operational procedures
  • Manage budgeting responsibilities, including cost control and resource allocation
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership, motivation, and conflict resolution
  • Participate in interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team aligned with company standards

Requirements

  • Proven management experience within the food industry, including supervising teams in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling skills required
  • Strong leadership abilities with a background in staff training & development and team management
  • Familiarity with inventory control practices and budgeting processes in hospitality settings
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles preferred; barista or hotel experience is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail
  • Culinary experience or background in food production enhances candidacy
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a collaborative team environment
