Required Qualifications
Minimum of a Master's degree in Africana Studies or a related Social Science or Humanities field.

Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Africana Studies. Teaching experience is desirable. Ability to work with and be sensitive to the educational needs of a culturally diverse urban population.
