Overview

Who Are We Looking For?

CAPTRUST is seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to assist our development team in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks and deployment pipelines. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn modern DevOps practices, automation tools, and testing strategies in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to support continuous integration and delivery processes, primarily using Playwright for automated testing and Azure DevOps for pipeline management. In addition, you will perform manual testing when needed and actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright
  • Perform manual testing to validate functionality and ensure quality
  • Support the setup and optimization of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues
  • Help monitor pipeline runs and ensure successful deployments
  • Participate in Agile events to stay aligned with team goals and progress
  • Document processes and contribute to best practices for automation and testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts (JavaScript or C# preferred).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Exposure to Playwright or other test automation frameworks
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools like Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of SQL and basic database queries
  • Interest in object-oriented programming and design patterns
