This position requires extensive knowledge and experience full revenue cycle medical billing.
- Full Revenue Cycle Billing including but not limited to:
- Collections
- A/R; aged billing
- Electronic claim submission
- Posting of insurance and patient payments
- Processing payments
- Claim correction
- Insurance follow-up and appeals
- Collection calls
- Monitor Accounts Receivable
- Compile patient statements
- Review and update demographics and patient information for accuracy
All qualified candidates must have the following required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of billing/authorization/eligibility experience in a health care organization.
- Ability to work well others
- Excelling communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Mental Health experience is a plus
- Extensive knowledge of health insurance policies
- Completing and prioritizing tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to examine and enter billing/demographic information completely and accurately.
- Ability to understand and interpret policies and regulations.
- Ability to answer questions effectively for patients, staff, and physicians both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to perform all tasks accurately, completely, and timely.
- Experience with data entry into EMR and practice management systems.
- Ability to work well others
Additionally, qualified candidates must demonstrate the following:

- Excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to deal with difficult people.
- Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, concisely and effectively both in person and over the phone.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Office Ally is a plus
