Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following statement reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principle functions of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent to the job.

  • Accurately fabricate acrylic components for dental appliances, following prescribed specifications and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks on acrylic components and finished splints to verify accuracy, fit, and overall product quality.
  • Choose appropriate acrylic materials and color shades for each dental product based on specific dental cases and patient requirements.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment used in acrylic fabrication to ensure accurate and efficient operation. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Skillfully finish and polish acrylic components to achieve a high-quality, aesthetically pleasing result.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of each splint and appliance case, including materials used, acrylic specifications, and production details.

  • Completes assigned processes according to Great Lakes standards and time constraints.

  • Completes additional tasks as needed to support departmental and organizational goals.

  • Remains current and adheres to all safety and occupational health policies and procedures.
