Position Summary
The Operations Implementations Specialist plays a key role in the successful launch and stabilization of new behavioral health facilities and consulting projects under the ARS umbrella. This individual serves as the bridge between business operations, compliance, and clinical integration—turning project plans into actionable workflows and ensuring every facility meets operational readiness standards before go-live.
This is a highly collaborative and fast-paced role that supports both internal teams and external consulting clients. It's ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong project management skills, Substance Use operations experience, and a passion for process improvement in behavioral health settings.
What You'll Do
Implementation & Coordination
- Partner with the Senior Director of Implementations and Vice President of Operations to plan, execute, and monitor new facility openings and consulting engagements.
- Translate business plans into operational systems, workflows, and site-specific SOPs.
- Develop and manage implementation timelines, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
- Coordinate alignment across clinical, medical, HR, finance, and facilities functions.
Operational Readiness & Compliance
- Conduct readiness assessments for staffing, training, IT/EMR, compliance, and environment of care.
- Support policy rollout aligned with state licensing requirements, Joint Commission standards, and payer expectations.
- Participate in mock surveys, readiness walk-throughs, and onboarding planning.
Training & Systems Integration
- Facilitate orientation and operational training for new facility leaders and department heads.
- Assist in setting up EMR workflows, admissions processes, and reporting dashboards.
- Support implementation of documentation standards and evidence-based programming.
Post-Implementation Support
- Monitor facility performance during stabilization; identify opportunities for coaching or process improvement.
- Develop reports summarizing outcomes and recommendations.
- Conduct surveys and lead process improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field required; Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, behavioral health administration, or project management.
- Prior experience supporting new program or facility launches strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Joint Commission, CARF, or state licensure standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, or ).
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification.

Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (Eastern or Central Time)
- Location: Fully remote, with up to 25% travel to ARS-affiliated or client sites nationwide.
