CDL-A OTR Drivers – Start Your Trucking Career | Training for New Grads
Location: San Francisco, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Just earned your CDL-A? We're ready to help you turn that license into a lasting career. Whether you're newly certified or looking to gain experience, we provide paid training, modern equipment, and real miles so you can grow fast and earn steadily.
What You'll Earn
- Paid Training: $650/week for 4–6 weeks
- Solo Pay: $1,100–$1,300+ weekly
- Top Earners: Up to $1,800/week OTR
- Transition Bonus: Up to $1,500
- Orientation Bonus: $300
- Monthly Performance Pay: Available
What You'll Do
- Drive 2,500–3,000 miles/week once solo
- Safely operate CDL-A equipment across all 48 states
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and DOT compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch for on-time deliveries
Equipment & Routes
- Assigned Freightliner trucks (avg. age 1.5 years)
- Inverters/APUs installed in most units
- 60% drop-and-hook, 100% no-touch freight
- Keep your truck during home time
- Home every 14–21 days (2–3 days off)
- Local route option after 3 months OTR

Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- 120+ hours of CDL training (within last 2 years)
- Clean driving record (minor issues considered)
- Pass DOT physical (urine + hair test)
- 21 years or older
- No recent DUIs, felonies, or at-fault accidents
Preferred but Not Required
- CDL school graduates eager to learn
- Understanding of basic freight handling
- Willingness to build experience and grow in the industry
