Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized experienced Lead Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and facilitating smooth seating arrangements while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Experience in Fine Dining a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
  • Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and orders.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality while providing exceptional guest relations.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective phone etiquette.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving techniques and hospitality best practices.
  • Experience in Fine dining is a plus.
