About Us

Serenity Fields Cemetery is a family-owned cemetery in Mission, Texas, dedicated to serving families with compassion and dignity. We provide a full range of interment options, including burial plots, cremation niches, and services designed to honor veterans and first responders. We are seeking motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Family Service Counselors.

Position Summary

As a Family Service Counselor, you will guide families through the process of planning cemetery arrangements. This includes both pre-need services (advance planning) and at-need services (arrangements made at the time of passing). You will provide education, support, and solutions that meet the needs of families, while also achieving personal and company sales goals.

This role is ideal for individuals who are motivated by helping others, thrive in a consultative sales environment, and want to build a meaningful career in service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with families to explain cemetery options, products, and services with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist families in both pre-need and at-need planning.
  • Complete and submit required documentation for each sale (contracts, receipts, certificates, IDs, and other required forms).
  • Hand-deliver completed sales folders to the Accounting Department for payment verification.
  • Maintain accurate records using company forms and procedures.
  • Attend training and obtain required licensing before performing duties.
  • Achieve assigned sales goals through a combination of appointments, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Uphold the company's standards of integrity, compassion, and compliance with all regulations.

Compensation

  • Commission-only, $30,000 - $60,000 annual OTE
  • Potential to earn substantial income based on performance.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach when working with families.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Must obtain and maintain required state licensing.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
