Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management expertise, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily store activities, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Lead, train, and develop team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of service.
  • Manage employee orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training & development initiatives.
  • Oversee merchandising, stock replenishment, and inventory control to optimize product presentation and availability.
  • Handle shift management, scheduling, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Conduct interviewing and recruiting processes to build a strong team.
  • Manage POS systems, sales transactions, and perform cashiering duties accurately.
  • Assist with purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and budgeting to maximize profitability.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote store products and services effectively.
  • Maintain organized records of payroll, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks related to store operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer service protocols.

Skills

  • Proven management experience in retail settings with supervising responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership qualities with effective team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in retail sales systems such as POS; experience with inventory management software preferred.
  • Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to handle cash handling accurately and perform retail math calculations confidently.
  • Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and interviewing candidates.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks such as stocking, marketing, and administrative duties.
  • Knowledge of grocery store operations or wireless sales is advantageous but not required. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about retail management and customer service excellence.
