The Opportunity

, a Global Fortune 500 company, is looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to optimize our NuSil IT Operations organization.

This Bakersfield, CA role is full-time, on-site to include after hour on- call responsibility up to three weeks/ month.

Minimum Education

• High school diploma/ GED. Associates or Technical school degree preferred.

Required Experience (1+ yr):

• Providing support of all PC, network, server hardware and software applications included but not limited to: MS Outlook, MS Office, Virtual Desktop, Active Directory..
• Customer service.
• IS/ IT Support.

Preferred Experience

• Kaseya VSA, Cisco Network Hardware, Facility Cabling, RF Equipment, and various end-user applications and computing devices,
• M365 Cloud Administration.
• A+, Network +, Sec +.
• Technical documentation.

Travel

• Up to 10%.

With The Ability To Multi-task, Troubleshoot And Adapt To a Changing Environment; While Working Independently And Prioritizing Multiple Work Streams And High Priority Support Requests The IT Support Specialist Will

• Receive direction/ advice for complex issues from Lead Administrators or management.
• Provide troubleshooting and service requests expertise to all IT information systems.
• Participate in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implement prototypes.
• Provide setup, deployment and support of mobile devices.
• Provide remote support for facilities and associates.
• Maintain, support, and configure warehouse devices (Printers, RF Units, Terminals, etc.).
• Engage with external vendors for support and services.
• Conduct end user training and learning sessions with associates.
• Assist in technology planning and budgeting, maintenance of technical documentation, and identification of process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a listing of spare inventory and electronic waste.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems. A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.

Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Pay Transparency
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$43, $72,800.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
