As part of the mission, the Sr. Reliability Test Engineer in Reliability Department will be responsible for driving and supporting the Vacuum product's reliability program including product qualification testing, design for reliability, and design, develop, and implement automated testing, etc.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Drive and lead Vacuum Product's test automation.
- Generate, develop and execute Reliability Plan for each project.
- Embedded with engineering team and provide daily reliability support for associated projects; perform reliability tasks per Reliability Plan.
- Responsible for leading and performing the product qualification-testing, including Functional testing, Reliability and Durability testing (HALT, life test, etc.).
- Work with the team member to drive and/or perform various reliability analysis – e.g. reliability predictions (modeled and field), reliability allocation, Design FME(C)A, Weibull, Warranty analysis, etc.
- Work with other team members to develop and build reliability test stands and fixtures.
Provide technical support to improve the existing reliability and life test stands/fixtures and equipment.
Perform root-cause analysis for product failures.
- Perform product reliability design reviews.
Skills You Bring:
- BSEE or BS engineering. MS is a plus.
- 2+ years' test engineering and/or reliability test engineering in electronic or electromechanical, or mechanical field.
Test and test development experience with electronic or electromechanical systems
LabView hardware/software design knowledge/experience is a plus
- Technical, Urgency-driven, Curious, Pragmatic
- Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally to resolve issues, including with customers
- Familiar with HALT, HASS and Life test methods is a plus.
- Familiar with Relex and Weibull ++ is a plus.
- Test automation experience with electronic systems or electromechanical systems is a plus
- Embedded software testing experience (RS232, 485, DeviceNet, Profibus, Ecat and USB) is a plus
- Semiconductor, automotive and/or medical experience is a plus
- Python, visual Basic and C/C++ programming skill is a plus
