Job Description

TITLE: Mechanical Engineer

COMP: Up to $110,000/year

LOCATION: Fort Wayne, Indiana

Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for an Mechanical Design Engineer direct hire position in Fort Wayne, IN.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the quality cost effectiveness and timeliness o designs
  • Develop automated equipment utilizing Solidworks
  • Maintain accurate project documentation
  • Responsible for creation of drawings manuals, and documentation
  • Responsible for conformance to design specifications
  • Responsible to meet deadlines
  • Develop conceptual solutions
  • Layout, draw, and reproduce illustrations for reference manuals and technical publications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience designing and detailing mechanical assemblies
  • Experience utilizing Solidworks
