The Opportunity
Canadian Breaks Consulting is seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our embedded project teams. This role is critical in ensuring successful schedule development, updates, and controls throughout the life of construction projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with both clients and team members to implement effective planning and scheduling practices using Primavera P6.
This individual will report directly to their Client Team Lead.
The Project Scheduler will work primarily on active construction sites. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise level is typically low to medium. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.

What You'll Do
In-House Responsibilities
· Embed in client project team providing support services on behalf of CBC and with other embedded CBC team members.
Client-Facing Responsibilities
Note: This list is intended to describe the general scope of work. Other duties will be assigned according to the position's role in the project team.
· Follow both site specific and corporate schedule initiatives
· Create and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
· Create, update and maintain construction schedule
· Qualify GC schedule submissions
· Monitor relationships, constraints and milestones
· Review critical path, cost loading, schedule content
· Review schedule content, provide comparison schedule reports
· Prepare site and/or corporate specific schedule reports
· Working knowledge and practical application of Earned Value Management (EVM) Scheduling
· Schedule Change Management
What We Expect from You
· Bachelor's degree in STEM preferred
· 5 years of experience as a Construction Scheduler utilizing Primavera P6
· Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
· Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
· Experience in use of Microsoft Project
· Have demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing and solving problems
· Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements and priorities with a positive attitude
· Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
· Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
· Ability to travel daily (within 50 miles of Boise, ID) to engage with team members, clients, and/or for team, department, or company level events.
· Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.

Starting Salary
$95k-$120k depending on experience, team fit, and potential for the role.
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $95, $135,000.00 per year
