Job Summary

As a General Labor Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and transportation services. You will be responsible for driving various commercial vehicles, including box trucks , while also assisting with loading and unloading freight. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience will be essential as you navigate routes efficiently and safely. Join us in delivering exceptional service while enjoying a dynamic work environment

What you'll do

  • Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks, and tractor-trailers, to transport goods safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload freight using equipment such as manual handling techniques.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues on the route.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle yard.
  • Support shuttle driving operations as needed, ensuring timely transport for staff or materials.

Basic qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Perferred but no required
  • Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in delivery driving or route driving within a logistics environment.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
