Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. As the Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of customer service, managing staff, and maintaining the overall efficiency of hotel operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Manage front desk activities, including check-in/check-out processes and night audits.
  • Develop and implement budgets, monitoring financial performance to achieve profitability.
  • Supervise and train hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Coordinate with various departments to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Utilize phone systems effectively to manage reservations, inquiries, and guest communications.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Assist in marketing initiatives to promote hotel services and increase occupancy rates.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficient in Opera Cloud
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a hospitality context.
  • Familiarity with human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee relations.
  • Experience in front desk operations, including night audit procedures.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
