Job Title: Weekend Server (Saturday & Sunday Morning)
About Us
Top Notch, family-owned, fast-casual breakfast restaurant, that has been serving our community since 1996. We're currently seeking a friendly, reliable Weekend Server to cover Saturday and Sunday morning shifts, with potential opportunities to expand to additional shifts in the near future.
Position Summary
As a Weekend Server, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing welcoming, efficient, and courteous service. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, handle payments, and ensure an exceptional dining experience. This role supports the front-of-house team during weekend mornings and may expand to additional shifts as staffing needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly; present menus and daily specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders; communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar.
Serve orders in a timely, accurate, and professional manner; check-in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Handle cash transactions; process payments and issue receipts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
Refill beverages, clear tables, and reset for next guests.
Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards per local regulations and company policies.
Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth service during peak times.
Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and any dietary accommodations.
Qualifications
Previous serving experience preferred, especially in breakfast/brunch or cafe settings.
Excellent communication and smile-driven guest service skills.
Ability to multi-task and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for handling payments
Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays mornings; flexibility for future shifts is a plus.
Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
