At Home Comfort, we create beautifully curated kitchens and baths that combine timeless design, refined materials, and exceptional functionality. We are seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our collaborative interior design studio. This role is ideal for a creative professional who thrives on translating a client's vision into cohesive, elevated spaces from concept through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design consultations with clients to understand their lifestyle, goals, and aesthetic preferences, establishing clear project intent, budgets, and timelines.
  • Conceptualize and develop design solutions that reflect the client's vision while meeting architectural, functional, and budgetary requirements.
  • Design and produce detailed cabinetry drawings, elevations, and specifications for kitchens, baths, and other custom interior spaces.
  • Research and curate materials, finishes, and fixtures — including cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, lighting, flooring, tile, and hardware.
  • Prepare client presentations, mood boards, and renderings that communicate the design story with clarity and sophistication.
  • Manage all aspects of project documentation, procurement, and administration — including proposals, purchasing, invoicing, and tracking orders to ensure smooth execution.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors, fabricators, and vendors to uphold design integrity, craftsmanship, and code compliance throughout construction.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador in the showroom — engaging with clients, generating leads, and maintaining an inspiring, polished presentation space.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in kitchen and bath design.
  • In-depth understanding of construction methods, cabinetry systems, millwork detailing, and technical documentation.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage design projects from concept through installation.
  • Proficiency in one of the industry-leading programs AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, 20/20 or or Revit; 3D rendering preferred.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently while collaborating effectively with the design team.
  • Must be available to work Saturdays and occasionally Sundays.

Compensation

  • Base pay 55-60,000/year + comission
  • 401K - 4% matching, health insurace, PTO
