Electromechanical Maintenance Technician — Manufacturing

Do you enjoy solving tough equipment problems, building prototypes, and making production lines run smoother every day? If so, this role is for you. You'll be the go-to person for preventive maintenance, electrical assembly, and control system upgrades—working closely with engineers to test, analyze, and improve performance.

Imagine your impact

You start your shift with a quick review of maintenance logs. A CNC lathe flags a fault—within minutes, you've isolated the issue, updated a wiring diagram, and restored operation. Later, you collaborate with engineering to tweak a PLC routine, analyze test data, and propose a design change. Before the day ends, you record your work, complete PM checklists, and verify equipment meets Safety, Environmental, and Quality expectations.

How you'll contribute
  • Deliver technical support on electrical/engineering issues during construction, startup, and steady-state production.
  • Assemble and repair electrical/electronic systems and prototypes using hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot alongside engineers to resolve developmental and design challenges.
  • Evaluate test information, pinpoint root causes, and apply corrective actions.
  • Create/modify diagrams and draft engineering specifications for experimental electronics.
  • Install, service, modify, and upgrade industrial control systems, including PLCs.
  • Support the design, evaluation, and repair of electrical equipment.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tasks.
  • Follow Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures rigorously.
  • Pitch in on additional tasks to keep operations running efficiently.
What makes you successful
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in maintenance within manufacturing.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and handle complex problems confidently.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills; comprehensive understanding of equipment maintenance.
  • Experience in manufacturing support; skilled with hand tools and process documentation.
  • Intermediate skill in maintenance, monitoring, and repair.
  • Team collaborator who reads and applies work instructions accurately.
  • Manual dexterity and the capacity to lift/move heavy objects.
