Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. As an Owner Operator, you will utilize your own vehicle, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring safe handling and secure transport.
  • Drive a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver products to various locations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.
  • Navigate effectively using GPS systems or maps to reach delivery destinations.

Skills

  • Proficient in operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Experience in moving and handling goods safely within a warehouse or delivery environment.
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail in completing delivery documentation and maintaining records.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
