Job Summary: 

Are you passionate about financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency? We are seeking a Financial Oversight Manager to oversee financial wellness standards, verify budget accuracy, and guide departments in adhering to financial best practices. 

In this role, you'll play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and uphold financial wellness standards across the organization

  • Verify budget allocations and expenditures for accuracy and compliance

  • Review financial statements and tracking reports for inconsistencies.

  • Monitor company spending and ensure alignment with approved budgets

  • Ensure all financial records are properly documented and accessible for review

  • Conduct audits to verify financial accuracy and ensure transparency

  • Oversee compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements

  • Assist in developing strategies for cost savings and financial optimization

  • Identify financial risks and provide solutions to mitigate potential issues

  • Track and analyze financial trends to support strategic decision-making

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to executive leadership

  • Prepare financial verification reports for audits and internal reviews

  • Assist in forecasting long-term financial planning initiatives

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial compliance laws and best practices

Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Accounting degree or 1 year minimum experience in financial budgeting and analysis

  • Analytical and detail-oriented

  • Proficient in financial tracking tools, spreadsheets, and reporting software

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience and/or knowledge of accounting processes

  • Professional in both appearance and interactions with others 

  • Strong knowledge of financial wellness principles and budgetary management

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict financial reporting deadlines

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive financial data

Pay: Salary, $42,240 a year

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
