Cold-Link Logistics LLC is a rapidly growing Warehousing and Logistics Company built on Family Values.

Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, the High Reach Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of material handling equipment including a High Reach Forklift Truck for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise in a cold and freezer environment. The equipment utilized in these functions includes pallet jacks, forklifts, slip-sheets, clamps, and high reach forklifts. The operators are also responsible for all functions of the operations including order selecting, put away, loading, unloading, and sanitation.

Essential Duties:

  • Being a TEAM Player, working cooperatively with others to meet daily service demands.
  • Complete daily forklift maintenance and pre-shift Inspection sheet.
  • Put away palletized units by raising forks for placement into locations, both single and double deep, up to 7 levels high or 500 inches.
  • Pick palletized units from locations, both single and double deep, up to 7 levels high or 500' and stages for outbound shipment.
  • Records materials, weight, count, condition of food items via RF system.
  • Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
  • Inventory product as needed.
  • Label, sort, stack, wrap, and tie products as needed.
  • Recharge, maintain, and clean batteries as needed while using appropriate PPE.
  • Conducts operations in a manner which promotes safety.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean personal work environment.
  • May perform other duties of Forklift Operator or Utility as needed.
  • May perform other duties may be assigned to fulfill Cold-Link Logistics objectives.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED; college or trade school education preferred.
  • Ability to accurately perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) as required for daily warehousing tasks.
  • Previous one year warehouse equipment experience; using high reach forklift.
  • Possess strong communication skills and be capable of following written and verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate a solid teamwork mentality and be willing to collaborate as necessary to meet business demands.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and handle product both manually and with equipment.

Physical Requirements & Schedule:

  • Core working hours Sunday - Thursday. THIRD SHIFT, 11:00PM TO 7:30 AM. OVERTIME AND WEEKENDS AS NEEDED.
  • Core working hours Monday - Friday. Second Shift, 3:30PM - 12:00AM. OVERTIME AND WEEKENDS AS NEEDED.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record according to Company guidelines.
  • Ability to be in a multi-temperature warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from outside ambient to -10 degrees F. Cold-Link provides cold weather gear for staff members.
