Description
The Warehouse Supervisor is a leadership position supervising all aspects of company's warehouse functions. Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for a safe, efficient, accurate, and timely warehouse and shipping operation. These operations include receiving, storage, order processing, shipping, inventory management, and warehouse facility management. The applicant will be held accountable for scheduling the appropriate staff, monitoring their progress, and maintaining accurate inventory at all times.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure warehouse activities are intensely focused on providing internal customers with exceptional service.
- Supervise warehouse activities to ensure accurate receipt of materials and monitoring the security of all assets coming through the warehouse.
- Ensure orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate employees and locations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy to meet company objectives within Standard Operating Procedures and cycle counting guidelines.
- Assist in modifying materials management procedures, improving efficiency, and ensuring consistency among warehouses.
- Create and provides reports as required.
- Maintain warehouse in a clean and orderly manner while ensuring warehouse optimization and warehouse safety remain priority.
- Manage warehouse employees' schedules and workload, setting standards for performance, and ensuring compliance with company policy.
- Provide training and assistance for new employees and participates in cross training with other departments.
- Deliver performance reviews and other feedback to help develop warehouse employees.
- Manage efficient workflow of customer premise equipment recovery, testing, and redeployment.
- Manage the equipment repair process, including RMA's, shipping, tracking, and inventory verification.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- OSHA Forklift Trainer Certification.
- High level of organizational and time management skills
- Operationally focused; detailed oriented but able to grasp big picture.
- Excellent skills with MS Excel, MS Word, and project management tools.
- Familiarity with IMS systems (Workday) is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, analytical, understands how to manage people effectively and leads by example.
- High Level of risk analysis, critical thinking, and the ability to provide solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid state's driver license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to work extended hours and potentially weekends on occasion with short notice.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
