We have been retained by a locally owned, industry-leading building materials supplier that's succession planning for retirement by adding a Commercial Estimator to the team. They're looking for someone with a lumber or structural framing background who's experienced in multifamily, commercial, or light residential estimating and take-offs. If you're an Estimator or Truss/Panel Designer with material take-off experience using MiTek or PlanSwift, this could be a great fit

Requirements:

  • Perform building material take-offs for commercial designs
  • Review construction documents and understand materials to bid
  • Provide training for contractors in compiling specifications and material use

Responsibilities:

  • 2+ years of education in architectural design or a comparable degree
  • Understanding of building design, building materials, and construction terms
  • Knowledge of building codes
