What You'll Be Doing:

  • Reviewing architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and bid documents

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors

  • Conducting site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed

  • Collaborating with fabrication and field teams to validate scope and constructability

  • Maintaining and updating estimating databases and historical cost records

  • Assisting in value engineering and cost-saving recommendations

  • Supporting contract negotiations and change order pricing

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 3+ years of estimating experience in steel erection and/or fabrication

  • Strong understanding of structural steel components, erection methods, and industry standards

  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Tekla EPM, Bluebeam, MS Excel)

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines
