Vending driver

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform basic equipment repairs as needed. If you have experience with low voltage systems, computer networking, and schematics, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment for minor repairs or adjustments during transport.
• Perform basic troubleshooting using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose issues with low voltage systems.
• Collaborate with field service teams to assist in equipment repair when necessary.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, maintenance, and operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively for minor repairs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Previous experience in a driving or field service role is advantageous but not required.
