Under the direction of the Residential Coordinator, The Residential Manager is responsible for ensuring that the participants continuous residential home has all needed items, ensuring that the home is always a safe and clean environment. The Residential Manager ensures that the services being provided to the participants residing in the home are person centered and work towards meeting the participants goals. The Residential Manager will over see the Assistant Manager and other Residential staff making sure that documentation is being completed, making sure scheduling is completed and communicated, and that all staff follow policies, procedures, and HGI values.

Responsibilities and Duties of Residential Manager

  • Prepare for and attend all ISP meetings in relation to your caseload
  • Ensure the monthly tornado and fire drills are being completed
  • Work with the Lead to ensure that the data checks are being completed at least once a week, and then follow up to assure all data has been completed.
  • Enter and approve billing
  • Meet with the Lead at least twice a month, more if needed
  • Work a minimum of 30 hours of direct support a week
  • Ensure payroll reports are completed and submitted to HR
  • Complete monthly reports and update programs as needed
  • Write programs for all individuals on your caseload
  • Ensure General Event Reports (GER) are completed accurately and follow GER guidelines
  • Provide a weekly update to each individual on your caseloads team
  • Complete schedules for each service location and ensure that supervision levels are being maintained at all times
  • Be available to staff to assist during emergency situations
  • Ensure that service locations are clean, safe, and have all needed items which includes food
  • Meet with Residential coordinator once monthly
  • Ensure all receipts for individuals petty cash are turned into Residential Coordinator
  • Attend all psych, physical, specialist appointments
  • Ensure emergency book is updated

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $19.00 per hour
