Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an organized Executive Chef based in Dallas, TX. This is a guest-interactive position with strong emphasis on hospitality. Executive Chef will be responsible for weekly, creative menu planning and food preparation, breakfast and lunch, for a 150 seat employee dining room, plus banquet and meeting space. The position requires management of a 10-person Culinary team, ensuring consistent quality, hospitality, and the highest food safety standards. The position reports directly to ownership, and is accountable for all financial reporting - including monthly inventory, labor and food costing, P&L statements, and supplier/vendor relationships.

The candidate must be comfortable with guest interaction, and responsive to our guests needs.

Administrative assistance is provided, but candidate must possess basic understanding of POS systems, and on-line-based inventory, pricing, email, and ordering system.

Qualifications

  • Experience in menu planning for creative weekly menus, and banquets, special events
  • Strong kitchen management skills
  • Able to maintain 95+ Health Inspection Food Safety Scores
  • Strong, hands-on culinary skills and knowledge of culinary techniques and trends
  • Proficiency in labor, menu pricing, and inventory management
  • Ability to lead, train, and manage guest-facing kitchen staff
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Minimum 5 years' Executive Chef experience - Corporate Campus Dining Experience a Plus
