As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol - Weekdays in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your role will focus on monitoring assigned areas, addressing situations as they arise, and delivering outstanding customer service through strong communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to promote a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with site personnel, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Support emergency response efforts as appropriate to the situation and according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
