We're currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our close-knit team and help us continue delivering high-quality care in a supportive and flexible environment.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to animal welfare and will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. This role requires excellent diagnostic skills, the ability to perform surgical procedures, and a passion for educating pet owners about their animals' health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any issues.
- Perform surgeries, dental and other medical procedures as necessary.
- Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and progress.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high standards of care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution or ECFVG certified candidates
- Valid veterinary license in the state of practice.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, team-focused environment
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, ethical veterinary care with a focus on patient comfort and client trust
