Job Overview

We are seeking a politely aggressive and detail-oriented On-Site Property Manager to drive occupancy and oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and administrative tasks. This role requires effective communication skills, conflict management abilities, and a thorough understanding of landlord-tenant law and fair housing regulations. The On-Site Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction while maintaining the property to the highest standards.

Duties

  • Increase occupancy and retention
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the property, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws
  • Utilize property management software such as Appfolio for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management
  • Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and conflict resolution in a professional manner
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met.
  • Oversee lease agreements and contracts
  • Maintain accurate records of resident information, maintenance requests, and financial transactions
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to address property issues promptly and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects

Experience

  • Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law and fair housing regulations
  • Experience with conflict management and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and office experience
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential
  • Background in facilities management is beneficial.
