Our client, a Junior's + women's wholesale manufacturing brand, is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their growing team in NYC

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for customer inquiries, delivering outstanding service by promptly and accurately addressing customer needs, providing product information, pricing, and order assistance.
  • Support the sales team in reaching their goals by assisting with customer meetings, presentations, and trade shows preparation. Help manage customer follow-ups to ensure a smooth sales process.
  • Keep track of customer orders, follow up on routing instructions to guarantee timely deliveries, and assist customers in navigating our ATS (Available to Sell) inventory.
  • Work with the team to develop and implement effective visual merchandising strategies in the showroom, ensuring products are displayed attractively to boost customer interest and sales.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends, market dynamics, and product offerings. Attend training sessions and engage in personal research to enhance your ability to assist customers and the sales team.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and report generation to support sales operations. Coordinate with other departments to facilitate seamless workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in wholesale sales support, preferably within the apparel industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building meaningful relationships.
  • A keen eye for fashion and visual merchandising.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • An enthusiastic learner with a passion for staying informed about fashion trends and leveraging this knowledge in sales strategies.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a proactive approach.

$60,000-$70,000 commensurate of experience.

Full time in office.
