Position Overview
The Social Media Community Specialist will oversee community engagement, influencer partnerships, and user-generated content for both AQUA Hair Extensions (professional) and AquaLyna Hair Extensions (consumer). This role manages day-to-day interactions on social media, builds relationships with creators and stylists, and drives brand advocacy through authentic engagement and UGC activation across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to all comments, DMs, tags, and mentions across AQUA Hair Extensions and AquaLyna.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice for both the professional and consumer audiences.
- Escalate product questions, customer issues, or sensitive conversations to the appropriate internal teams.
- Monitor and engage with stylists, ambassadors, and creators who tag the brand.
- Conduct daily proactive outreach to increase engagement and visibility.
- Track trends, FAQs, and community sentiment to identify content opportunities.
- Report any spikes in engagement, recurring concerns, or notable audience feedback.
- Source, save, and organize UGC from stylists and customers.
- Request usage rights and repost permission from creators and stylists.
- Support the Social Media Content Creator with insights gathered from the community.
- Monitor notifications across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Maintain saved responses, FAQs, and brand engagement guidelines.
- Assist with posting content during high-volume moments if needed.
- Track weekly engagement metrics including replies, response time, tags, saves, and shares.
- Provide insights to the Brand Development Manager and creative team to inform social strategy.
- Keep engagement logs, UGC folders, and community documentation organized and up to date.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in community management, influencer marketing, or social media (beauty or fashion preferred).
- Proven experience managing influencer partnerships and UGC campaigns.
- Familiarity with rights management processes. Experience with platforms such as Foursixty, Aspire, or CreatorIQ is a plus, and training will be provided.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Meta Business Suite, TikTok, and scheduling tools such as Later or Sprout Social.
