Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google's functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

In this role, you will be an experienced community engagement manager in order to engage with the Extended Reality (XR) community across multiple channels, evaluate future products, and guide product narratives. You will collaborate with multiple teams and functions to help the users learn about Android features, understand the benefits of Android, and build community. You will also help Google and the partners better understand the product positioning, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategies for the future of the products.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:
  • Build an XR community management strategy from the ground up, establish goals, manage existing forums, and launch new channels.
  • Maintain a knowledge of the Android XR Ecosystem, product features, and future roadmap.
  • Collaborate and funnel curated product insights, feature requests, and bugs cross-functionally with product, communications, and marketing to drive key decisions and narratives for Android.
  • Support the marketing team with user insights for development of marketing messaging and materials.
  • Collaborate with User Experience research to translate community feedback into actionable product insights. Track and route feature requests from the community, and foster community contributions that help improve the Google workplace.
