Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant – Birmingham, MI

Long-Term Position with a Professional, Warm Household

Overview

Executive Nannies is seeking a dependable, experienced Family Assistant for a Birmingham family with two young children (3.5 and 1.5). This long-term role begins February 2026, but may begin earlier for the right candidate, and combines childcare with household support. The mother is a Dermatologist, and the father works from home as an entrepreneur. The family values organization, consistency, and a calm, supportive environment.

Schedule

  • Mon–Wed: 9/9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Thu: 9:30/10 AM – 6/6:30 PM

  • Fri: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Compensation

  • $20–$22/hour

  • PTO: TBD

  • Possible use of a family vehicle

Responsibilities

Childcare:

  • Provide attentive care, plan age-appropriate activities

  • Manage meals, snacks, naps, and afternoon routines

  • School pickup and local driving (5–10 miles/day)

Family & Home Support:

  • Unload dishes; maintain tidiness in kitchen and common areas

  • Laundry for children and parents

  • Keep bedrooms and play areas organized

  • Grocery shop twice weekly

  • Assist with dinner prep and table setting

  • Run errands as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years professional nanny/family assistant experience

  • Clean background check and driving record

  • CPR/First Aid certified

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Comfortable with a friendly dog

  • Long-term commitment only

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
