Academic Programs Manager, Lydia Green Nursing Program

What We Need
The Lydia Green Nursing Program, in the College of Applied and Natural Sciences, seeks an Academic Programs Manager to support administrative operations . This role coordinates undergraduate nursing admissions processes, student progression tracking, licensure preparation support, accreditation data collection, and serves as the primary point of contact for student inquiries. This position works closely with faculty, staff, Admissions, Registrar, and clinical partners to ensure high-quality student support and program continuity. This is a student- and program-facing, on-campus position.
What You'll Do
• Coordinate undergraduate nursing admissions processes, including tracking applicants, reviewing transcripts, and communicating with Admissions.
• Serve as liaison between applicants and the Admissions Committee, ensuring clear communication and timely decisions.
• Create and present orientation materials for incoming student cohorts.
• Maintain student records and tracking systems, including licensure documentation and graduation requirements.
• Track NCLEX outcomes, student progression, and retention patterns; compile program data for reporting and accreditation needs.
• Manage and maintain the Typhon academic platform for clinical hours, evaluations, and preceptor documentation.
• Support program accreditation by collecting data, preparing materials, and submitting documentation.
• Manage academic documents including time schedules, catalogs, handbooks, course-related materials, and department web pages.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for nursing program inquiries by email, phone, and in person.
• Coordinate and proctor exams for students approved for testing accommodations.
• Assist preceptors in accessing grants and recording supervised instructional time.
• Plan academic events in collaboration with faculty, staff, and leadership.
• Support departmental committees as assigned.
• Associate's degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of administrative or office support experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with a welcoming, service-oriented approach.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software and database systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally in a mission-centered academic environment.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in higher education, healthcare education, or student services.
• Knowledge and experience with academic information systems such as Banner, Slate, Canvas, CourseLeaf, Sitecore, or similar systems.
Compensation and Benefits
Starts at: $28.60 per hour
