Redstone Foods Inc., is seeking an Inbound Manager to lead our growingInbound Team. The ideal Inbound Manager will lead a team of 20+ employees in our fast-paced, temperature-controlled distribution center, ensuring smooth operations by overseeing product receipt, accurate documentation, and precise placement in assigned locations. As a hands-on leader, the manager is directly responsible for executing departmental SOPs and achieving daily operational goals.

This position reports to the Sr. Warehouse Manager and may include but is not limited to the following:

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of Inbound team of +20 employees including but not limited to: product receiving, inventory control, product flow, warehouse layout, personnel, put-away, replenishment, and equipment maintenance.
  • Oversee high touch receiving process, ensuring all incoming goods are properly received, audited, documented and prepared for put-away. Work interdepartmentally to address all non-conforming inventory.
  • Lead and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system inventories. Create and implement action plans to address gaps in inbound processes.
  • Manage stock organization in the warehouse, ensuring that all products are labeled, stored, rotated and moved efficiently.
  • Responsible for leading department staff scheduled across morning and evening shifts[JB1] : base schedule M-F with 7 AM start time. 40+ hours per week. Committing to weekly involvement across all shifts and as operational demands necessitate.
  • Maintain daily communication with the Sr. Warehouse Manager and management team to discuss priorities, productivity, issues, and resolutions, ensuring efficient operations; including thorough shift pass downs.
  • Build people capability through effective employee relations, coaching, hiring, training front-line personnel. Set plan goals to achieve smooth flow of goods through the warehouse. Motivate team members to reach performance goals.
  • Coach and counsel direct reports on performance issues and takes corrective action when/if needed; planning, monitoring, developing and appraising job performances.
  • Improves productivity, efficiency, accuracy and overall department processes.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability, engagement, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Enforce all safety protocols/standards, ensuring a clean, organized and OSHA compliant facility.
  • Provide regular safety and process training and development to the department.
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective actions and/or best practices for inventory handling, storage and movement to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Lead in the implementation of warehouse scanning in the Inbound team - targeted implementation in 2026Q2.
  • Assist the Sr. Warehouse Manager in researching and developing new processes and procedures to increase the overall efficiency of the warehouse operation; And identifies process improvements and cost savings initiatives to improve operating efficiencies.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Minimum five (5) years of warehouse leadership experience in roles of Supervisor and/or Manager showing progressive growth in responsibility and leadership.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of warehouse, manufacturing or distribution center experience with strong background in Inbound and/or Inventory required.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues.
  • Exceptional people-management and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in distribution center environment with a focus on Inventory Control.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, set expectations, emphasize accuracy, establish and track performance metrics, and help improve production and processes throughout the Inbound Team.
  • Proven ability to prioritize objectives while maintaining a hands-on approach to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule, consistently meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality standards.
  • Must be able to manage multiple departmental operations simultaneously with clear communication to direct reports, upper management, and cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and exercises sound judgment in high-pressure situations to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting)
  • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, validated by your successful completion of a major improvement project.
  • Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time in a warehouse environment.
  • Must have forklift experience.
  • Must be local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background as well as E-Verify
