This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the project quality control program required for our Data Center Business Unit. This includes overseeing all QA/QC functions, procedures, and controls within the organization. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring the performance of daily QA/QC responsibilities that drive conformance with project standards and requirements. The Senior QA/QC Manager will oversee all project/client documentation and inspection requirements to ensure compliance with our General Contractor partner, the client, and all other required standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance & Control: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations along with owner requirements. Create, document, and distribute QA/QC checklists, inspections, punch lists, and quality reports. The primary focus will be on Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) scopes of work.

  • Quality Management Platform Administration: Work within the General Contractor partner and/or Owner-mandated Quality platform to build, manage, and oversee checklist development, asset/issue management, and all other necessary functions.

Train and mentor team members (both internal and external to the quality team), fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Organize, build, and manage peak-performing teams at each General Contractor partner site.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align quality objectives with project goals. Communicate clear expectations to the project team. When the situation warrants, direct involvement in site activities and an ability to "roll up your sleeves" will be necessary.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions to support compliance and future improvements through company operational software. Supervise inspection and reporting processes within our project teams and review the documentation issued by 3rd party inspectors.

  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with client representatives by communicating/demonstrating the General Contractor partner's commitment to Quality in a way that inspires confidence.
