Hiring: Machine Learning Engineer (Integration Specialist) | Hybrid | W2 Only

We are supporting a leading financial services client (company name hidden) in hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for a long-term contract role.

Location: Durham, NC

Also open to: Boston, MA | Merrimack, NH | Smithfield, RI

(Local candidates prioritized; relocation considered)

Duration: 12 months (Likely extension)

Schedule: Hybrid – onsite every other week (5 consecutive days)

Employment Type: W2 referral only (No H-1B candidates)

Rate: $75–80/hr

Onboarding: Background check, credit check & drug screening

Interview Process:


• 1st Round – 60-min Technical Panel


• 2nd Round – 30-min Manager Discussion


• A pre-interview technical assessment will be administered before client submission

Note: This role is only for US Citizens and Green Card holders who are ready to work on W2 arrangements.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly experienced Machine Learning Engineer who specializes in scaling GenAI workflows into production systems.

This is an engineering-focused role—not research. You will build APIs, deploy cloud-native services, and design robust ML pipelines that power enterprise-scale AI products.

You will be responsible for:

Transforming RAG prototypes into production-grade systems

Deploying multi-agent AI frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, LangGraph, etc.)

Designing distributed systems and microservices

Handling vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus)

Implementing strong DevOps practices—CI/CD, monitoring, containerization

Ensuring Responsible AI & governance across solutions

Top Requirements

Bachelor's/Master's in CS, AI, ML, or related field

10+ years software engineering (APIs, cloud, system integration)

3–5 years ML engineering

2+ years building agentic or multi-agent systems

Proven experience with RAG pipelines

Hands-on with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus)

Experience with agent orchestration frameworks

Strong in AWS (S3, Lambda, ECS, SageMaker, etc.)

Advanced Python; C++/Java/.NET is a plus

Experience with Oracle, Snowflake, knowledge graphs (Neo4j, RDF/SPARQL)

Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, CI/CD

Understanding of Responsible AI principles
