HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Summary:

  • Directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies, goals, and management for Therapy Services Psych Center (dept# 7177) within the context of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) Behavioral Health Center (BHC) policy implementation and program development.
  • Establishes staff expectations by developing customer service expectations, mentoring, and providing clinical supervision for licensure.
  • Monitors service quality and oversees patients' Baker Act* status.
  • Networks with community resources.
  • Provides direct clinical services to patients and families (as needed). *Baker Act = Florida Statutes, Title XXIX (Public Health), Chapter 394 (Mental Health)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work

Required Experience:

  • Three (3) years of relevant job-related experience post-licensure (including one (1) year of supervisory experience)

Required Certification/License/Registry:

  • Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in accordance with Florida Statutes, Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 491 (Clinical, Counseling, and Psychotherapy Services) with one (1) year post-hire
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS.  Trained in internal quality management (IQM). Budget management experience.  Experience treating patients with co-occurring mental health and/or substance use disorders of various ages.
