Senior Salesforce Developer

Role overview

This role is a hands-on Senior Salesforce Developer responsible for building, improving, and supporting our Financial Services Cloud and overall Salesforce environment (Data Cloud) to make work easier for internal teams and deliver better experiences for members.​

Essential functions & responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day development and enhancement of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, from configuration through custom development, including Data Cloud.
  • Triage, debug, and resolve issues in our existing Financial Services Cloud deployment to keep the platform stable and reliable.
  • Build scalable, reusable Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Flows that automate manual work and reduce errors.
  • Configure and improve Lightning Pages, roll-ups, and standard FSC components to make the UI faster and more intuitive for users.
  • Create filterable dashboards and dynamic reports that give operations, service, and leadership teams real-time visibility into performance.
  • Design Service Process Studio flows that support key member service journeys and reduce handle time.
  • Implement and maintain case record types, workflows, queues, and routing rules to ensure work goes to the right teams at the right time.careers.
  • Configure, test, and support other initiatives that require development within the Salesforce platform and provide best practices and guidance on how to best proceed.
  • Integrate external data sources and marketing feeds into Salesforce using connectors, APIs, and data
  • Use Data Cloud to unify member data and deliver segmented audiences and profiles into Marketing Cloud for targeted campaigns.
  • Run regular data audits, validation, and deduplication to maintain data quality and support compliance with governance standards.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to turn their requirements into clear, practical Salesforce solutions.
  • Lead or support UAT cycles, fix found defects quickly, and deliver clear technical documentation.
  • Provide functional training and day-to-day support to help users adopt new features and follow best practices.

Job specifications

  • Strong, hands-on Salesforce development skills across Apex, Lightning Web Components, and automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes).careers.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, optimize flows and configurations, and improve member and user experiences through automation.
  • Comfortable working directly with product owners, analysts, and business users to clarify requirements and suggest better solutions.
  • Able to manage multiple work items in an agile environment and use tools like JIRA and Confluence to track work and document solutions.listings.
  • Curious about new Salesforce features, especially Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud, and eager to apply them to real business problems.

Education, training & experience

  • 5+ years of Salesforce platform engineering experience, including Apex, LWC, SOQL, and integrations.
  • Experience with Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes) and data tools (APIs, Data Loader)
  • Familiarity with integrations, with CTI integrations being a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data hygiene, deduplication, and privacy/regulatory considerations.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and agile delivery practices.

Pluses (not required):

  • Professional experience working with Financial Services Cloud, ideally in a regulated financial environment.
  • Background in a financial institution, including integrating Salesforce with core banking and marketing systems.
  • Experience with Node/TypeScript for integration or supporting services.
