About The Position
The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of HVAC and plumbing projects throughout the San Diego region.

The Project Manager will be responsible for directing project schedules, budgets, procurement, and field coordination while maintaining strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Experience managing large commercial mechanical projects is strongly preferred.

This role is essential to ensuring high-quality project outcomes, safety performance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Lead and manage HVAC and plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Track and oversee project progress, schedules, manpower planning, procurement, and cost control.
  • Coordinate field operations and ensure alignment with project plans, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and assist in resolving jobsite challenges.
  • Support forecasting, reporting, and financial performance on assigned projects.
  • Manage projects ranging from $500K to $5M in size across various markets.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of project management experience within mechanical contracting (HVAC and plumbing preferred).
  • Industry Experience: Exposure to a variety of markets including:

  • Student Housing
  • Multi-Family Residential

  • Compensation: $115,000 – $150,000, depending on experience
