Job Summary:
BNY's Information Security organization is seeking a Project Manager to support and drive technology and security initiatives across the enterprise. This role will play a key tactical and delivery-focused function—coordinating complex projects, ensuring milestones are achieved, and maintaining alignment with strategic business objectives.

The Project Manager will partner with product owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, resource alignment, and proactive communication throughout each project's lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, proven experience in both technology and project management, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring four days onsite in either Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of assigned technology and security projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources and ensure accountability for deliverables.
• Track and report project progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business partners, and vendors.
• Identify and escalate issues, driving timely resolution and mitigation plans.
• Prepare and present regular status updates to executives and stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement and project governance initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to maintain alignment on priorities.

Qualifications:

• 5–15 years of professional experience in Project or Product Management, preferably within technology or information security.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executives.
• Solid understanding of project lifecycle methodologies and scheduling/time-tracking tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Skills:

• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
• Familiarity with technology modernization, automation, or AI-related initiatives.
• Experience with vendor management and executive stakeholder coordination.
