Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and a welcoming environment within our hotel or facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and cleanliness to contribute to a positive guest experience. Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping management is preferred but not required. The House Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a comfortable and pristine environment.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Maintain floor care through mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
  • Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly for resolution.
  • Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to uphold health standards.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Ensure all areas meet the cleanliness standards set by the hotel or facility.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is preferred; experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is a plus.
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional guest service are essential. This position offers an engaging work environment where attention to detail and dedication are valued.
