Job Summary

Responsible for developing and maintaining internal tools that support the delivery and troubleshooting of voice services. Manage and optimize databases while automating internal processes to enhance efficiency. Design and maintain standardized reporting frameworks, documentation, and processes, providing clear quantitative analyses and ongoing evaluations of alternatives and solutions to drive informed decision-making. Utilize internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights on the voice network, assess the impact of new initiatives, and measure customer engagement with voice products.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks and technologies (React, , Python) to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Design, build, and integrate REST APIs with external services to enable seamless data exchange and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, ensuring reliability and high availability.
  • Administer servers and manage security vulnerabilities, including patching, hardening, and software vulnerabilities to ensure system integrity.
  • Oversee database administration, implementing automation, retention policies, and user access controls for optimal performance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements, set delivery timelines, and track progress.
  • Partner with management to estimate effort and timelines, supporting accurate planning and resource allocation.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on project milestones.
  • Provide flexibility in handling additional assignments that support overall business objectives.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Hands-on experience developing and debugging server-side applications and web services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Proficiency in modern development technologies, including React, , Python, and containerization platforms (e.g., Docker).
  • Strong knowledge of relational and columnar databases, with advanced proficiency in SQL for data management and optimization.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, driving efficient and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in software development or related technical roles.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Ansible, for automated deployments.
  • Cloud platform expertise, including AWS, Azure, or equivalent technologies.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Grafana, for data-driven insights.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $85, $128,529.58

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
